PAMAS S50P Fuel for Contamination control and Condition Monitoring of Liquid Fuel

The PAMAS S50P Fuel online particle counter is a cost effective fixed installed measuring instrument for the condition monitoring and contamination analysis of liquid fuel. Its design allows for flexible integration into monitoring facilities for liquid fuel. As well as providing the triple code according to ISO 4406 (size classes > 4 m(c),> 6 m(c) and > 14 m(c)), PAMAS S50P Fuel measures the particle number and size distribution of all 8 size channels and the results are reported in real time to PC or PLC (programmable logic controller). This allows alerts to be triggered in case of failures caused by bigger particle sizes (e.g. caused by corrosion), in order to prevent the transfer to tank and the subsequent use of contaminated liquid fuel. The volumetric cell design of PAMAS sensor in the S50P Fuel means that 100% of the sample flow is measured, guaranteeing the highest accuracy and reproducibility.

An important option increasing the value of the PAMAS S50P Fuel as a condition monitoring instrument is the ability to have four analogue inputs on board for four extra 4-20 mA signals to be sent to a PC. This means that the S50P Fuel serves as a powerful condition monitoring interface and additional data coming from external sensors - e.g. water content, oil temperature, viscosity, vibration or pressure is sent together with the particle count measurements.

Sample input:
- Pressure range: 0 to 6 bar
- Sample flow rate: 25 ml/min

Volumetric particle sensor PAMAS HX:
- Measurement in eight size channels:
> 4 m(c), > 6 m(c), > 10 m(c), > 14 m(c), > 21 m(c), > 25 m(c), > 38 m(c) and > 70 m(c)
- Calibration range: 4 m(c) to 70 m(c) according to calibration standard ISO 11171
- Maximum particle concentration: 24,000 particles per ml at a flow rate of 25 ml/min with a coincidence rate of less than 7.8%

Standardised measuring results:
- Report of measuring results according to cleanliness class standards SAE AS 4059 and ISO 4406.
- For results according to ISO 4406, classes are displayed from 0 to 22 as triple codes, i.e. from 0/0/0 to 22/22/22.

Interfaces for data transfer:
Standard equipment: RS485
Optional equipment: analogue 4-20 mA interface. Parallel data transmission for the size channels > 4, > 6, > 14 and > 70 m(c) or serial data transmission for all eight size channels.

PAMAS POV (PAMAS Online Visualisation) Software: for online visualisation of measuring results and for long-term trend monitoring

Size: 230 mm x 200 mm x 180 mm

Weight: 5.0 kg

Case protection: IP 64

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

We are currently certificated to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 by Intertek Group PLC, who are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). UKAS, as an accreditation body, work with other similar bodies around the world to ensure that the standard of auditing is uniform and adequate. Some certification bodies do not have this accreditation and therefore the standard of their auditing has not been independently verified.
